Greg Price is a Fauquier County, Virginia native and literally grew up with a hammer in his hand. After graduating college with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture, Greg worked five years in an architectural office before he realized he could not sit behind a desk any longer. In 1999, he journeyed to the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina where he studied under some of the nation's premier blacksmiths. For the past ten years, Greg has returned to the Folk School annually to teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced blacksmithing. His commissions range from a single accent piece to outfitting a whole residence in ironwork. His work has also been featured in Schiffer Publishing's Ironwork Today 2.
The gallery always has artful work of Greg's which includes candle holders, hooks and fireplace tools. He is also available to create commissioned work like fireplace screens, gates etc. Please call the gallery for details.
