As a young girl, Sara’s love of jewelry stemmed form her grandmother’s “treasure box”. It was filled with unique pieces of jewelry from around the world. In 1998 she began taking classes ar Baltimore College Institute of Art and in 1999 she started her career by working for Sterling Inc as an apprentice. In 2005 she took the plunge and started creating her own line of unique jewelry. Sara works in the Mokume-Gane technique. With its distinctive layered patterns and Sara's masterful eye for design, this mixed-metal laminate produces interesting and elegant works of art jewelry. Patinas of satin silvers, gold and copper are found throughout Rivera's custom designed pieces which include collar necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets.
We currently have a nice selection of both round and square Mozaic, Scenic and Gemstone in earrings, necklaces and pendants.
